Air actuators in general are known in the industry to be very rugged, reliable and durable. Convalve heavy duty quarter turn air actuators are prelubricated and tested to a minimum one million operations. Actuators are available in double acting and spring return models. They meets international ISO 5211 standards for easy valve mounting and replacement. Position confirmation switches and valve positioners can be easily mounted to the actuator with the standard VDI/VDE-3845 top mounting pad. Rotation adjustment +/- 5% in both open and closed position. Visual position indicator will monitor the open and closed position.

Wafer butterfly valves with epoxy coated ductile iron body are designed to control various media in commercial and industrial applications. Valve mounts between two standard ANSI 125/150, DIN PN10/16 and other international flanges. Seat to flange seal, eliminates the need for flange gaskets. Disc is precision machined 1.4408 (CF8M) . Two piece stem and disc design enhances the flow capacity and reduces turbulence.

The internal and external surfaces of its housing are cleaned with ozone during manufacturing and subsequently coated with an epoxy-based powder paint to enhance corrosion resistance. Convalve EAC 1 Electric Actuator complies with international standards and is rated at IP67. Its flange connection dimensions fully adhere to the ISO 5211 standard, and the connection shaft housing is designed for on-site replacement, offering significant advantages in machining and assembly.The product features an integrated self-locking mechanism and an infinite (helical) gear configuration with externally adjustable mechanical limit elements. The motor windings include an integrated thermal protection system to prevent overheating. Additionally, the position indicator is equipped with a lens-enhanced design to ensure clear and accurate valve position monitoring. The electronic control circuitry is optimized to deliver high efficiency and performance tailored to evolving and customized user requirements. Optionally, the system can be integrated with a proportional control unit (modulation unit) to provide both on/off and modulating control options.

Convalve

This valve opens and closes through piston motion forced by compressed air. As fluid pressure acts onto valve seat, the piston experiences little resistance and thereby enables the valve to quickly open/close. The latest design improvement results in more effluent fluid dynamics and less pressure loss.
